Dedicated In Memory of my Beloved Rosco
I hope you will enjoy this large collection of Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier or “Wheatie” pictures and find the one that resonates with you to light up your home or office. The Wheaten Terrier is an Irish breed known for its soft, silky coat and joyful personality. This collection of Wheaten Terriers, is probably the reason for my creation of the entire k9 Gallery of Art. I had the pleasure of living with my Wheaten Terrier “Rosco” for all of his 11 years. I found I had far too few images of him in my albums and movies. Whenever I searched online for a momento, I could never find one that warmed my heart, that showed that beautiful funny face and loving heart in a believable and realistic picture. Sure there is a lot of impasto, neon colors, and dripping paint images available, but none of them were him. Below, I have successfully recreated my beloved Wheatie as Rosco beams from every image below. I dedicate this exhibit to his memory and hope I have achieved this for all the dog breeds I have portrayed for your enjoyment.
WT-H-FIREPLACE
In this picture, a fluffy Wheaten Terrier warms itself by a wood fire hearth. Its wheaten color fur soft and clean, its expression gentle and passive, he is lying face forward and paws out to the viewer. Perhaps a romanticized version of what hearth & home were for them in old Ireland when not working hearding sheep in the fields.

A fluffy, Wheaten Terrier with shaggy fur peers over a blue surface, staring directly at the viewer with big, brown eyes and black nose in a playful expression. Its front paws rest on the surface, and its mouth is slightly open. The background is a plain studio backdrop with a gradient light blue color. This is exactly how my Wheaten Terrier Rosco looked, always making me laugh.

From my romantic Valentine Dogs picture series, two fluffy Wheaten Terrier puppies with dark eyes and black noses sit-up attentively in a wicker basket surrounded by red roses. The background is a warm, blurred soft pink, adding a cozy, vibrant feel to the scene. Both pups are sitting up strait looking at the viewer, with one of 4 paws resting on the basket's edge, looking like a gift of love one dreams about.
